Primary Classes

The Trillium International School curriculum is based on the British and French national curricula.

CP Class: 21 hours of English and 6 hours of French
CE1 – CE2 Classes: 21 hours of English and 6 hours of French
CM1 – CM2 Classes: 18 hours of English and 9 hours of French – preparation for entry into middle school with an international track.

The school will use the following resources to follow the curriculum:

Spelling/Reading (Pre-K–Year 2): Jolly Phonics + ORT
Spelling/Vocabulary: Spelling rule workbooks
Reading Comprehension/Vocabulary: Wordly Wise + ORT + Usborne novels
Grammar: Student grammar book
Mathematics: Singapore Maths + Kumon Programme

Our teachers will deliver a high level of academic achievement while continuing to focus on each child’s individual needs.chaque enfant.

Children will use iPads to diversify learning resources.

Teachers will apply the flipped classroom model for subjects such as History, Geography, and Science.

Daily Routine

9:00 – 10:40: Classroom time
10:40 – 11:00: Playtime (snack with fresh fruit)
11:00 – 12:30: Classroom time
12:30 – 13:15: Lunch
13:15 – 13:45: Playtime
13:45 – 16:00: Classroom time

French National Curriculum

French Instruction at Trillium International School
At Trillium International School, French instruction at the primary level is a central part of our educational approach. We focus on developing pupils’ language skills through a gradual immersion in the French language.

Pupils follow a structured curriculum that meets the standards set by the French Ministry of Education, covering reading, writing, listening comprehension, and written expression. Our goal is to ensure a strong command of the language while fostering creativity and analytical thinking.

For children who do not speak French, we offer personalised support to help them acquire essential foundational skills. Through tailored lessons and specific teaching tools, we promote a smooth and rapid integration, allowing each child to progress at their own pace while thriving in a bilingual environment. Our experienced teachers work closely with families to provide consistent and individualised support.

As a result, even children who are new to French can thrive in an enriching learning environment while effectively and enjoyably developing their language skills.
